“We Drift”, de laatste realisatie van de Belgische kunstenaar Wim Tellier, is de eerste kunstinstallatie ter wereld die door de kracht van de natuur wordt getoond.
Wim Tellier reisde alle continenten af om de meest unieke sites vanuit de lucht te fotograferen, en dat met behulp van een kite. De rode pleister, het logo van We Drift, werd eerst in elk landschap geïntegreerd als symbool voor de schoonheid en de kwetsbaarheid van onze planeet. Het lot van de natuur is immers verbonden aan dat van ons.
In dit boek geeft Wim Tellier een inkijk in zijn filosofie en zijn avonrtuurlijke manier van werken en fotograferen. Het boek bevat alle aspecten en de opbouw van zijn werk en beelden en toont het resultaat van de grote finale op de Schelde te Antwerpen.

Wim Tellier travelled extensively through every continent to capture som truly unique sites in aerial photographs taken with the aid of a kite. The red band-aid, which serves as the logo of We Drift, is integrated into each landscape as a symbol of the beauty and fragility of our planet. Nature’s fate is, after all, inextricably linked with that of humankind.
In this book, Wim Tellier provides an insight into his philosophy and his adventurous approach to creating art and photography. It covers the various aspects and the structure of his work and images, and documents the final of the project on the river Scheldt at Antwerp.
